My ministry in Radipole and Weymouth has been greatly helped and supported by Eagles Wings Ministries since it's inception in 2004. The Lord has clearly led Mike and Angie Stear to provide this wonderful resource which draws on their long experience in parish ministry.

Mike has been given the gift of listening and discernment which enables him to look at a situation and offer support and prayer based on his Biblical knowledge, his Spirit filled faith, and his God given ability to see a clear vision and way forward.

Eagles Wings is a gift from God and I would urge churches or individuals in Christian ministry to take advantage of this precious resource to enrich their walk with the Lord.

On our retreat in May 2006, Rev. Mike Stear led us through three days of discerning issues of spiritual warfare, based on 1 John. It was good to have some practical teaching on spiritual warfare that was neither dismissive nor fanatical, and two of the sessions - "God is always greater" (1 John 3:20) and "Spiritual detectives, not demon fanatics" (1 John 4:1) - really spoke to me and resonated with my situation.

Even more valuable to me personally, however, was a one-to-one conversation with Mike, talking through the pressures and strains of my ministry. His independent opinion and advice helped me to see things more clearly when discerning the way forward.

Mike has been and still is a great inspiration and guide to me as a leader of a church, sympathetic and understanding of me as a person and along with his wife Angie a great example and support for our marriage. His heart is for the gospel of Jesus and glory of God both to individuals and churches. He is one of those godly men who can't help himself being encouragement to all.

Mike has helped me through some of the most difficult days of ministry, enabling me to keep focused on Jesus and his mission. His passion ignites one's own. Mike you are a gift from the Lord and it's a privilege to know you.
